I've been thinking of buying a good book on algorithms that would also serve as a reference in future. There are three books I know, of Cormen,Tanenbaum and Knuth.

Is there any other book that is better, and which one should I choose among these ?

I am going to be a sophomore and will try to answer your question. I think the first is best Also do NOT buy books at the book store they are too expensive. I have saved a lot of money by ordering them online through cheaptextforyou.com or abebooks.com
